Erm, she's aware we're a tiny island right? I'm all for importing what we need, but we should absolutely be promoting the idea of buying British where possible in order to prop up the economy and keep the money circulating rather than squirting out like a sex wee.

It's funny how they go from criticising China to trying to replicate China. The only difference is, we're not as honest about it.

I looked into Huginn but development stalled, so I ended up going with n8n.

That fella is insane, but I like them.

I think you're overestimating people. Let's look at this post for example. The lady in the video is essentially saying that the way to get the best out of LLMs is to treat them like you're hiring them to perform a role. Now look at the comments in here, a bunch of sanctimonious people with too much appreciation for their own thoughts and a lack of any semblance of basic behaviour. Just because people aren't at the stage of abusing androids doesn't mean their behaviour isn't shitty. If people disagree with the tip on how to create prompts, post and say what's better. If people dislike LLMs, don't enter posts about them. The fact that people can't do even these and act in good faith, suggests the world will be filled with literal psychopaths when humanoid androids are everywhere.

Is there an alternative to rubber tires that does biodegrade?

It's always religious zealots

You sure? Because they're supposed to. I can reply to something on a NodeBB forum from my Lemmy app just fine.

Say that the same way they allow for use of a GitHub account to login, they can do the same for ActivityPub and also as a bonus, it would allow new interfaces such as being able to use the Lemmy apps to access the forums, this enabling members a choice in how to be better engaged.

For a few different reasons.

  1. I believe PF.social needs to decide what it wants to be first, rather than just becoming the LW of Piefed
  2. I believe PF.social will become a resounding success no matter what and thus will become a vector of centralisation anyway.
  3. I don't really want the LW hive mind over there or really anywhere that's not LW
  4. Different Fediverse communities offer different takes and I would hate to lose that with everyone moving to one community

I'm still seeing them include the same text
