Iamragesparkle's barkeep story about Nazi's was right.

I was at a shitty crustpunk bar once getting an after-work beer. One of those shitholes where the bartenders clearly hate you. So the bartender and I were ignoring one another when someone sits next to me and he immediately says, "no. get out."

And the dude next to me says, "hey i'm not doing anything, i'm a paying customer." and the bartender reaches under the counter for a bat or something and says, "out. now." and the dude leaves, kind of yelling. And he was dressed in a punk uniform, I noticed

Anyway, I asked what that was about and the bartender was like, "you didn't see his vest but it was all nazi shit. Iron crosses and stuff. You get to recognize them."

And i was like, ohok and he continues.

"you have to nip it in the bud immediately. These guys come in and it's always a nice, polite one. And you serve them because you don't want to cause a scene. And then they become a regular and after awhile they bring a friend. And that dude is cool too.

And then THEY bring friends and the friends bring friends and they stop being cool and then you realize, oh shit, this is a Nazi bar now. And it's too late because they're entrenched and if you try to kick them out, they cause a PROBLEM. So you have to shut them down.

And i was like, 'oh damn.' and he said "yeah, you have to ignore their reasonable arguments because their end goal is to be terrible, awful people."

And then he went back to ignoring me. But I haven't forgotten that at all.

Adderall works great for me for pushing through the focus issues and inattention. However, my anxiety and rumination kept building and building until I had an anxiety attack and have since gone on an SSRI as well and after a week of upset stomach, and 3-4 weeks of feeling nothing, my anxiety melted away. The funny thing is, I honestly didnt know how fucking bad my anxiety was. I am an extremely self-relfective person, but that shit was hiding behind everything, and it took the attack for me to identify it.

So, my advice is once you're on a med that's working for you, after about 2-3 months work with your psych and therapist to analyze whether you have anything else impacting you on top of the ADHD. Depression, anxiety and a few other mental health issues are comorbidities to ADHD and if you don't treat those effectively, or let them hide behind you unknowingly like I did, you could suffer a mental health episode like I did.

Medication is working great for me. The clarity and focus have been astounding. And I only was partially the way there with adderall alone.

Whenever a store locks up something I need that I could buy in 2023 off the shelf, I pull out my phone and order it from another store.

There's a bike trail that goes along side and cuts straight through those ponds I used to ride out to the Silver Strand when I lived in North Park.

Was super cool to see the ponds change week over week. But holy hell do they stink. Not as bad as some of the brackish mud flats around the Puget Sound, but they definitely have an aroma.

Additionally, Washington, Oregon, California, and BC (this one has to have some sort of international limitations) have a climate pact with eachother to adopt emission and climate policies set by the other states/province.

Out of all the states that CA would have emissions issues with, OR would not be one of them.

As my high school physics professor liked to say, “Nothing sucks or blows, it pushes or pulls.”

Thanks for this. However, this isnt the scenario described where the water “floated“. I'm imagining that the wind was so fierce that the water was disappated so fast it didnt make it to the ground in a significant manner.
