In my opinion scaled is pretty unusable as it just "balances" out the feed with obscure hentai and conspiracy posts with zero comments

Maybe choose one or two source to back up your point. Nobody's going to go through your wall of links.

Don't expect the world to reward your good behavior. You will find your own internal motivation, or maybe not. But judging others never ends well. Just focus on your own actions. Nobody says being a good human being is easy...

Shaolin, and buddhist tradition could be something for the Chinese to really be proud of. It's a shame they haven't managed to protect their heritage from greed and abuse in the modern times.

Came here to write this exact thing. I remember stalking a forum of some loose circle of friends and learning about the life in a subculture in one another city in the early 2000s. So much everyday wisdom (and dumb memes) got lost when it was shut down. Back then folks were not afraid of sharing their private life online without a filter.

Indeed! Hope you had a chance to be nice today too

Absolutely, and I'm happy to hear you see it that way too. Online platforms don't really incentivize that though. That's just my lukewarm take on that

The theocratic government is repurposing folklore and patriotic anthems as it seeks to channel national outrage into increasing its support at home.

Whenever I click "hide post", I need to refresh the page on my firefox browser for that post to actually disappear. Is this expected behaviour?

Anesthetize wasps and move their whole colony without hurting them. Does that sound crazy? It might be..... but I did it anyway. See how. (from youtube)
