I thought I'd kick off an initial open "SFW" discussion here... and where better to start than asking about diapers! 😂

As of the start of 2026, for me it's gotta come down to ABUniverse's LittleKings or PretendAgain's TryAgains! Both have high capacity and perform well, and both have cute graphics. LittleKings win out a little bit on value I think, but TryAgains win out slightly in terms of quality in my experience. Both are really great!

How about you all? What do you like?

Whether you're interested in this stuff for the purposes of kink or you just enjoy them on a non-sexual level for comfort, convenience and fun, this community welcomes everyone 18+ to share, explore and discuss all kinds of things related to ageplay, diapers, accessories, and more!

Maybe you've never heard of this before but I've peaked your interest and now you have questions? Feel free to ask away!

But I need your help! A call for content and discussions!

I've met enough of you all out there online and in real life to know that you're out there, and I can't build up this fediverse community from zero by myself!

Hi everyone, fuwa here!

After briefly taking over moderation of the old !ab_dl@lemmynsfw.com community, I was able to work with the admins to become moderator of this community here on !abdl@lemmynsfw.com.

And because we're already hitting the reset button, and because I frankly am far too bothered by the underscore in the old community name and URL, I've decided to make this place the new home for the ABDL community here on lemmy and the fediverse.

So... welcome!

This community, !ab_dl@lemmynsfw.com ...

• So we've got this community some moderation now. But just relying on one person, me, creates a single point of failure in the future that would be nice to avoid by bringing on one or two more trusted and active moderators moderators.
• I hate that we have an underscore in our community name. I would personally prefer for it to be "abdl" instead of "ab_dl", but the Lemmy software seems to consider those to be the same thing, making it impossible for us to create or migrate to a new name. It may be possible to have the community renamed with admin intervention, but maybe not, I don't know.
• We have some rules that I made up off the top of my head. If there are any issues with them or if people would like to suggest changes, I'm very open to suggestions. But for now, I think they seem good.
• In order to turn this place into a real community we really need people to be more active with posts, links, comments, and discussions. (That's where you all come in! Don't be shy! Whether it's random thoughts, original content or sourced reposts from elsewhere on the internet, let's get populate this place!)

Other Fediverse communities...

• Unfortunately there are still a lot of "dead" ABDL communities on the various big Lemmy servers that were made in the wake of the last big Reddit drama exodus. Probably with the best of intentions, @ABDL_Network@lemmynsfw.com created a lot of Reddit clone communities here on LemmyNSFW and then went MIA, leaving a lot of unmoderated communities. Similarly, there is also !abdl@lemmy.world over on Lemmy.world that was created and then left unmoderated. It would be nice to eventually revive and restore some of these communities to a more healthy, moderated state. But we probably need a couple of active, long-term Fediverse users to do it.
• I'm aware of the Mastodon server abdl.link too. This is kind of a different thing, but it's got a couple hundred users and seems to have some ongoing activity, so people may be interested in checking that out at some point.

Hi all! Well... I never thought I'd find myself moderating a seriously kinky NSFW adult community anywhere, but here we are!

I assume that this community was first created by a user named @ABDL_Network sometime in the wake of one of the big Reddit dramas that drove a lot of intense (but for many, temporary) interest in the Fediverse. I'm sure they did it with the best of intentions, but at some point along the way they went M.I.A., and this sub (among others) were left to stagnate.

So, while I've never had a very strong motivation to moderate a community like this, I also didn't want to see the potential of key kink communities be squandered here on the fediverse, so I requests to take over as the lead moderator.

As of right now, my vision for this community is to be a place away from Reddit and other corporate social media where the ABDL community and friends can hang out, discuss things, make connections, and share relevant media, SFW and NSFW alike. While this is a NSFW instance, and a kink-adjacent space, I want to warmly welcome all community members regardless of their sexuality, orientation, kinkiness, lifestyle, or whatever draws them here!

Right after posting this I'll be putting in some work to come up with what I think are appropriate rules and resources for getting this community off the ground. (Perhaps it's needless to say that ALL LemmyNSFW.com rules are to be followed here, but I'm saying it anyway!)

In the long term, I will be looking for trustworthy and responsible help to run this community from within in the form of additional mods who are active and upstanding members of the community.

So whether you're a comfortable ABDL, a longtime member of the kink community, or just a curious person who found their way here and is interested to find out more about this lifestyle/kink, I welcome you to participate respectfully and in good faith, and on top of that, have fun!

Hello! paging @yay@lemmynsfw.com. I’d like to request to take over moderation of !ab_dl@lemmynsfw.com if possible.

• The last post in the community was by me, now 8 months ago.
• The current moderator, /u/ABDL_Network, was quite enthusiastic to create various communities during the Reddit drama, but now seems to be missing in action, sadly leaving a number of communities in question.
• I also want to mention that I reached out to the current moderator by DM quite a few months ago to see if they were still active and never got a response.

As such, I’d like to see if I can take over as the lead moderator for this community, at least for the time being. My hope is to turn /c/abdl into a safe and positive space for adults to explore and discuss this fun and exciting kink without fear or judgment, right here on the fediverse.

Finally, would it be possible to change the name of the community to remove the underscore, so /c/ab_dl would become /c/abdl. (It seems that making a new community without the underscore isn't possible.)
