Franz Ferdinand was practically asking for it.

He rolled through Sarajevo in an open-top convertible - in a city full of anti-Austrian rage - and the exact parade route was published in the paper, like a personal invitation to The Black Hand.

One assassin lobbed a grenade at his car, but it bounced off and blew up the vehicle behind him.

Did they cancel the visit? Nope. Later that day, they decided to visit the wounded - by driving the same route. After a wrong turn, the car stalled right in front of Gavrilo Princip, who didn’t miss his second chance. He just stepped forward and pulled the trigger.

The Bay is going out of business because of their insistence on remaining a "department store", high prices, and lack of adoption for any new technology.

Their point of sale was still running on DOS last I checked, and the shopping experience felt like it was straight out of the 90s.
