Thinking outside the box, computers don't have to go in cases...

If you still want a case and can't find an existing one that fits your needs you could try to make your own. Know anyone with a 3D printer or shop skills?

I have heard of people studying grain flow, so my thoughts first went down that direction but I was at a loss what that had to do with either quantum entanglement or metals. 😛️

Nah. I'd like to, but none of the editors I've tried match my way of thinking about things. (e.g. Inkscape just... doesn't do it for me.) I got a decent way into writing my own custom vector art tool a few years back, but set it down and haven't gotten back to it yet.

Right now I mostly use KolourPaint, GIMP, and occasionally some of my own software. This one was all KolourPaint.

I've hand written SVG a couple times, but not for anything I've posted on Lemmy as far as I can recall.
