War crimes are always bad, but I find this somewhat understandable with how long this has been drawn out, the fact that Ukraine is being invaded, and how many war crimes been perpetrated on Ukrainian soil by the Russian forces. Now, before you say that UKR was sided with Nazis in WWII, that seems more of a “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” situation in response to the harsh occupation of UKR by Russia at the time. And so much of the WORLD held antisemitism close to their hearts at the time on both sides, so that doesn’t really hold as Nazi sympathies.

And furthermore, Russia absolutely started this idiocy. I have had a friend murdered due to Russia not wanting UKR independent from them, so this is simply not just propaganda.

And you know this is not true. There is no issue with people celebrating it on the day that is typically celebrated as commemoration of the defeat of the Nazis. It is only the day that is specifically celebrated by the Russian state that is in question. Please stop lying.
