Can't remember the title, but an early season Voyager one where Janeway's on a planet and helps/is helped by an old guy that thinks she's his daughter while on a planet full of fascists.

Kaela being unimpressed with whatever Kronii is doing.

AI "art" is prone to nonsensical hallucinations with people gaining extra fingers, background elements bleeding together, and everything just looking uncanny. It's technically possible that you could train yourself to try and imitate this "style", but it would be both incredibly difficult to learn, and also be incredibly unrewarding- even putting aside having to prove you did, in fact, make said piece of art, it would still be as ugly as the AI stuff no one likes anyway.

He had more romantic chemistry with Seven than Janeway was willing to tolerate.

Last September, Fishback admitted to sharing confidential company information with people outside the firm at least 33 times, maintaining an undisclosed personal trading account, and engaging a college student in a campaign to discredit Greenlight's founder, David Einhorn, according to a joint court filing from the company and Fishback.

Fishback agreed to return any confidential information in his possession, delete any copies and pay legal costs, the filing said.

In 2022, the Broward County School District cut ties with Fishback and Incubate Debate after he was alleged to have an inappropriate relationship with a 17-year-old student, NBC News reported. He was 27 at the time. A judge denied her petition for protection and Fishback has denied all wrongdoing.

On the campaign trail, Fishback raised eyebrows when he said he joined Tinder to meet young female voters and then asked for donations to subscribe to Tinder Plus.

Fishback has also posted questionable comments about current gubernatorial frontrunner U.S. Rep Byron Donalds, who is Black. In one X post he said, "By’rone wants to turn Florida into a Section 8 ghetto." In another post he suggested Donalds was a "slave" to his political donors.

God, the guy pulls off the GOP hat trick: insider trading, racism, and having a thing for underage girls.

It's a worthwhile read about how new parking spaces now cost as much as a new car, but there's no mention of public opinion polling like the title implies.

Maybe a waterwheel to break up the coastline?

Damn, I guess that's how the Dems will manage to lose their electoral goodwill.

The Governor and state leadership. The mayor and city council are getting overruled.

I'd point out that in the article, the city leadership hates the idea. It's going through anyway because the Governor and state leadership are overruling the mayor and city council.

Ranma 1/2. From a strict reading of the material, Ranma is not himself trans (he insists he's a guy even when in female form), but someone that changes bodies from male to female on a regular basis understandably resonants with a lot of trans people.

Isn't this meme used to represent bad solutions to problems?

For a while now I've really been into an old Star Wars system called Saga Edition that I appreciate greatly for its ability to really customize a character. A major part of that customization comes from its use of a talent system instead of most other systems that automatically assign class features, and I'm curious if there are any other ttrpgs that use talents.

I'm pretty sure the Dragon Age ttrpg also uses them, but what other systems do, and are any of them still actively being produced?
