It's pricey, but I haven't regretted it. I was in the second batch of deliveries for the 16.

What are your favorite aquarium plants under a foot tall? in c/aquariums@lemmy.world

I'd also like to hear opinions. I just set up a 10 gallon planted tank with Java ferns, a cryptocoryne, a dwarf water lily bulb, and some dwarf hair grass.

The dwarf hair grass is not doing well, turning white in many places. Not enough CO2? That would be a bummer, I'm not setting up an expensive CO2 infuser for a 10 gallon tank.

The others seem to be doing fine. Half on the java ferns are producing plantlets, the crypt sprouted a new leaf, and the lily is growing new sprouts every day.

What's that twisty plant you have there?

Is it normal to calculate how much money you spent running the AC today? in c/nostupidquestions@lemmy.world

I think most people wouldn't bother to do that, but there's nothing inherently wrong with it. If your wife finds it annoying it might be because she feels like her use of AC is now being monitored and judged. You should probably make it clear that that's not the case. If it is the case, then yeah, you should stop.

The problem with sorting by hot, at least on my instance, is that I always seem to wind up looking at a post from years ago mixed in with more recent stuff. That's not a problem per se, but I find myself almost responding to a conversation that happened a long time ago.
