I’m with you, it’s confusing. But I think what it means is this:

The study ran for 90 days. Non-sterol bees had stopped doing bee sex by then. Sterol bees were doin it all the way up to the end of the 90 days - and then the study ended. We can therefore assume they wanted to continue having freaky beedsm sex for even longer.

I’m pretty sure the risk is lower, but you probably still shouldn’t. I think the problem is that anything fatty/oily can emulsify with other things that get poured down the drain and potentially thicken into a blockage even if they weren’t in that state when you poured them down

 
 

This was taken from the Shira II camp at sunset, at an elevation of about 12,700 ft or around 3,900 m. There’s some graininess due to the lighting conditions but I actually think it adds to the photo - sort of a lofi feel
