Part of the reason the marvel movies did so well is they had common threads that tied them together.

I’m not at all excited for a microcosm of a story packed into a couple hours, that’s what tv shows are for

Lungs evolved from the digestive tract as it's more efficient to just have a separate organ for it, which is also the reason you can shoot oxygen up your butthole to breathe

So maybe this discovery will have some alternative usefulness

You haven't tried the varieties that you can't buy at the store.

Grow some Cherokee purple tomatoes, they will change your whole perspective on what a tomato should taste like. My SO disliked raw tomatoes until we took a chance on something different

The problem with robin vos and his awful ideas is that he is immune to accountability because the state has been gerrymandered to guarantee minority rule. His district keeps voting him in , no matter how evil he is.

Change will come soon after that state Supreme Court election which should eventually trickle down to dismantling the gerrymandered maps, which is at the core of Wisconsins problem. Not sure there’s much that can be done until that comes to fruition

If it’s horror comedy like The Menu I’d probably like it. Tough category to pull off though

A fresh horror movie to watch that I have never heard of before?

Yes please!

American here

A large portion of it is about who is at the controls and what jurisdiction they are beholden to. I would recommend against buying a GM car built in Canada for this reason alone

Voting with your wallet in tangible money is naturally also very helpful as the only god our companies worship is The Dollar.

Good is not the enemy of perfect though, less money and control to my fascist occupied country is the goal, even if incremental.

Also a Reddit refugee, but moved over after the API debacle.

After that Reddit decided to ban my 10 year old account, I guess as a final fuck you, but I’m not missing much these days for 98% of what Reddit considers content now.

The other 2% is when I pop in for my super niche hobby subs because Lemmy is too small for those

I'm really glad that I never jumped on that free biosolid based fertilizer from my city's sewage treatment plant.

I found it suspicious they were giving it away free, and also suspected that the list of contaminants it boasted to be free of was woefully inadequate, because people are nasty and flush all kinds of weird shit.

Hooray for not poisoning my own soil
