In California, I knew a lady who had tried apps and dating traditionally-met men, and by the time I met her she had been in a handful of somewhat serious relationships. She was 33 and ready but single Bay Area men are notoriously not, from what I heard from several single women. So she asked her parents and sisters to help. They are from India. I was a bit shocked by this but her logic was strong. She’s like my parents know the real me better than anyone. Maybe sometimes better than I know myself. They know what I need and I trust them. We lost touch not long after that so idk how it turned out but she was a great catch in my opinion. But she was happy for the help from family.

We went to Gdańsk in May 2023, let me tell you it was soooo affordable/cheap, esp coming from Norway. Amazing comfort food, sweet people, beautiful sights and the WW2 museum was amazing, and we aren’t usually museum people. Big recommend! Sopot (I think that’s the spelling) is a little beach town right outside Gdańsk and it’s also really nice!

My job is unimportant. I manage a bakery that I do not own. But I can’t do it poorly. Like even though I literally do not care if the building burns to the ground, I still act like Customer Service Barbie as soon as I’m clocked in.
Knitting and worrying
Husband and I have seen The Decemberists something like 6-8 times. I love this band, I love its unique style, and they put on a show that just lifts my spirits every time. Even the time the whole venue was signing Everything is Awful in unison. I’ve seen them in KC, Omaha, Oakland, and London. When I see they’re touring, I buy tickets. Simple as.
Maybe he was the friend nobody likes. He certainly exudes that specific energy.
