Yeah, at least the series was canceled at a logical point in the story. It would be neat to be able to get the original actors back to continue the series in 30 years or something. But we have seen how difficult it can be to get an original cast back only five years after a series's cancelation, so I doubt that was their plan.

Okay, so it's not just me? I was wondering if perhaps my instance just updated and this latest beta version is showing me deleted comments that it previously wouldn't show me. Because I definitely understand deleting one's own comments, but like you say, this frequency is indeed weird.

Even if they pay the right people, it may still suck if they try to influence the creative process at all. Over all, I am not optimistic.

Just noticing this now: why are the belugas here wearing blue science uniforms? Cetacean ops is navigation, which is a division that usually uses the same uniform that command wears (either red or yellow), right?

EDIT: Detmer wore blue while in navigation. I am confused

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia was originally conceived as a sitcom called It's Always Sunny on TV taking place in Los Angeles, California and following a group of struggling actors. A few short episodes were shot in order to pitch the show to networks, most notably an episode that would later be re-shot into S1E4 "Charlie Has Cancer" for It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

In this video linked here, we see a scene in which Artemis auditions for Glenn/Charlie, which was to be part of an episode titled "Big Breasted Violence". It should be noted that this is not footage of Artemis Pebdani's audition for the role of Artemis Dubois. This is Artemis Pebdani portraying Artemis Dubois, a character who herself is an actor that is auditioning for something in this episode. You can tell that this scene was reworked into her introductory episode of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia in which she auditioned in front of Dennis and licked his face.
