City Attorney Stefanie Stalheim told investigators she had spoken to Ross about a police officer’s suicide just minutes before she received a video of the mayor going to town on himself.

Nothing like some classy yellow journalism from the NYP.

That's because they're hard working but have fallen on hard times not like those other people who take advantage of the government.

Imagine the mountain of shit if Biden or Obama had done this to a red state.

It’ll be cool as long as all its games aren’t HD remakes of switch games.

As the world emerged from pandemic shutdowns in early 2021, a supply chain shock left a lasting imprint on the cost of owning a car in the U.S., spilling out first through prices of used and then new cars and on to replacement parts and finally to loan costs and vehicle insurance rates.

That sustained inflation in the auto industry - vehicle and parts prices are 20% higher than before the pandemic; insurance more than 60% - put a persistent prop under consumer inflation overall, which President Donald Trump may risk reinforcing with 25% tariffs on imported vehicles.

President Donald Trump’s “Liberation Day” is fast approaching, and stock markets from Wall Street to Wellington, New Zealand, are falling Monday in advance of it.

In New York, the S&P 500 was down 0.4% following one of its worst losses of the past couple of years on Friday. It’s on track to finish the first three months of the year with a loss of 5.5%, which could make this its worst quarter in nearly three years.

Russia says it is still "working with the US" after President Trump said he was "angry" and "pissed off" with Vladimir Putin.

In its first response to Trump's criticism of the Russian president, the Kremlin tried to play down the tensions between the two leaders.

"We continue working with the US side, first of all, on building our relations," spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, said.

He said there were no plans for a call between Putin and Trump this week, but that Putin is open to one "if necessary".

The meeting between motivational speaker Brad Burton and Sam Wall lasted less than a minute. She posed for a picture with him after attending one of his workshops and later left a glowing video testimonial.

It was unremarkable, Mr Burton says. "Just one of the thousands of people I must have met over the years."

Two years later, she started attacking him online.

In hundreds of posts, Wall described him as manipulative, a psychopath and a sociopathic abuser. Day after day, she accused him of making death threats, breaking her windows and killing her cat - all false allegations.

"She put it on social media across all platforms. She was painting a picture that, somewhere along the way, I had done all these things and I was trying to cover it up," Mr Burton tells BBC Panorama.

"How do you prove a negative? That I had not poisoned the cat? Social media and the way it works, it's guilty until proven innocent."
