An amazing video unlike any other the whole way through about 3d software, and subscription models

Looks pretty different from any game we've seen yet. I guess they made it that way since mk8 is already compatible with the new console, so it needs to be something other than "yet another Mario Kart" to not be overshadowed by 8.

Maybe I'll pick it up in a couple years, but there's still more than enough games I haven't played on the Switch 1 for the steep price of the Switch 2 to be justified for me personally.

I'm always amazed by how they make these genuinely fun, huge maps for an April fools bit.

What kind of rich ass people are they trying to appeal to with this console?! The switches advantage was that it was cheap and aimed at a general audience.

500$ for the bundle is crazy I can't afford that.

Genuinely beautiful video.

You can ignore the title it only makes sense for 3 minutes total.

old post but this is quite easy with datapacks. https://misode.github.io/dimension/?version=1.21.4

just set the type to multi noise, add the biomes you like, download the datapack, and make sure the namespace is set to minecraft to override the vanilla settings

Absolutely unreal, doesn't look like the game at all.

Minecraft is officially a game engine.

(From the official itch account on Bluesky) I kid you not, @itch.io has been taken down by Funko of "Funko Pop" because they use some trash "AI Powered" Brand Protection Software called Brand Shield that created some bogus Phishing report to our registrar, iwantmyname, who ignored our response and just disabled the domain

(Continuation via Twitter) Also, for transparency, we did take the disputed page down as soon as we got the notice because it's not worth fighting stuff like that. Regardless, our registrar's automated system likely kicked to disable the domain since no one read our confirmation of removal

you can't make this up

In Mastodon, post urls have the structure

<domain>/@<username>/<post id on your instance>

For your instance, and

<domain>/@<username>@<user instance>/<post id on origin instance>

for federated posts. Which makes it really easy to find a post even if it's not on your instance, I use an add-on called Mastodon Redirector that makes this even easier.

But on Lemmy it is just <domain>/<post id on your instance> no matter if it's a local post or not.

So if I have a post url on a different instance, say https://lemm.ee/post/49270741 how do I get to it on lemmy.world? (without just searching for it.)

(Couldn't find a better community)

The most mysterious song on the internet is no longer that, as it has been identified as FEX - Subways of Your Mind by a Reddit user. (< this is the studio version, the version we've had was just a demo.) Apparently the band has been contacted, and they plan to do a reunion rerecording in the near future.

2 other songs from the band were also discovered, and just 6 hours ago FEX, the band, sent a live recording as proof so now we have 3 versions of the song!

(It's not AI if you were suspecting that. Seems very real.)
