She cares more about her career than about all the people that will die as a result of her vote. Edit: Just like all the others who voted for this btw.

Unfortunately shame isn't going to make anything better. Your politicians 'slamming' the other side isn't going to change anything either. Those opposing the fascist cult need to organize and have a plan, or it's only going to get worse. I realise however this is easier said than done.
That's how you handle a bully. You stand up for yourself and take the hit if it comes to that.
Good luck. I guess it will take people like you to do it, because your political "leaders" aren't doing shit.
Yes, generally these one day protests don't really accomplish anything. You need protests that don't end at dinner time, but go on until there is change. In other words: a revolution. But I understand this is not easy to organize in a gigantic country like the US.
I'm European and this is how I feel about it as well. I try to turn my boycott into something positive. Now I support my local economy more and I've turned away from big tech to more ethical FOSS as much as I could.
Just stumbled across this post. I use https://www.routeyou.com/. It's Belgian and I get it free with my newspaper subscription. Quite similar to Komoot, but it will take some getting used to.
By giving in to this you only open the door to more bullying.
That's tough. I would be devastated if my parents chose to believe some propaganda 'news' channel over what the sons they raised had to say.
Hopefully they isolate themselves so much that the rest of the world will be influenced less by their election cycle.
Even if people are misinformed or don't understand the concept of fascism, they still voted for a rapist. If you vote for a rapist, you are a bad person. You can't spin it any other way. Rape isn't that difficult to understand.
Look at all those smiles as they are destroying their country and the planet. I wonder what drives these people. Is it really only money and racism?
