Die Trauerfeier findet in Form einer technischen Spezifikation statt. Anstelle von Blumen bittet die Community um Spenden an die Electronic Frontier Foundation für den Kampf um digitale Rechte. Eine robots.txt-Datei wird dem Grab beigefügt – ironischerweise die erste, die tatsächlich respektiert werden wird.

Das Internet hat früher definitiv mehr Spaß gemacht. Das Fediverse erinnert wieder daran. Zeit für die jährliche FLOSS Spendenrunde.

I put mine on a zigbee plug into my home assistant (docker on nas), and created an automation to notify me when the power consumption drops below 1 W or so (lower than when it's only running the fan when the hunidity is near setpoint). All local, works so far.

if I understand correctly, then something like these might help. They are not too extensive (here in Germany at least) and we used them to press baseboards to the walls while drying, as well as helping keep plasterboards up while constructing ceilings.

I think the look depends a lot on the icon set in use, which can be changed in the settings. Personally I use the Elementary SVG version on my Plasma Desktops, I find those icons to be clearer and neater than the ones in the Breeze pack. Also the default Font Liberation Sans, while a fine font, has a certain look that looks slightly dated somehow. If you change the default style for all documents to some other font, it looks a lot fresher :-)
