I wish my mom actually followed though on sending my brussels sprouts to the starving kids via mail when I was a kid because it would have been hilarious.

What we're currently calling AI isn't AI but just a language processing system that takes its best guess at a response from it's database of information they pilfered from the internet like a more sophisticated Google.

It can't really think for itself and it's answers can be completely wrong. There's nothing intelligent about it.

What advantage do you get using one PC in this way instead of two?

The pixelation definitely helps sell the illusion.

Performance aside it just wasn't ready for release anyway. There are major bugs in its simulation in the economy where stuff like your cargo ports don't function and commercial isn't actually using your production products and are just faking it. The performance issues are made worse by them not implementing proper LOD when you zoom out so that everything still has way too much detail in it's models that you don't need.

I love the game but it needed like 6 months more development and testing before it should have even seen the light of day as an early access game at least.

I'm just happy we have all of these choices.

The FOSS apps are fantastic already and Sync is there if you want that too.

Paid software absolutely has a place in the world. Evil companies producing evil software designed to build a monopoly and lock out FOSS apps do not. I don't think Sync falls into the latter and I'm happy they've made the choice to be able to eat.

The potato and gravy at KFC uses whatever crud fell to the bottom of the friers each day. Usually that was good chicken bits, but sometimes it could be whatever the staff were playing catch with for fun.

Oh and be nice to the people making your food. Trust me on that one.
