Sit in it, ask it questions, find out what it's all about.
9 times out of 10, it's just your inner child who's been neglected and misunderstood. Once you take the time to give love to your inner less developed psyche, you'll not need to find escapism.
Because there will be no pain to escape from.
Love yourself, you deserve it.
And just to get you started... Let me open the door for you:
We do the best we can with what we know at the time. We're products of our parents and environments. You can't blame somebody for that.
Nothing wrong with that. It's called figuring out what life is all about. And given that your 30s is when you properly mature. It makes perfect sense.
They're just the simplest options. Just do something until you're better than everybody else at it and sell your skills. Easy? Yes. Time consuming? Also yes. Worth it? Absolutely.
