"I always take the middle class as the threshold where you have sufficient passive income ... Examples would be landlords"

Please don't bring parasites into this

Fair enough, but in a more just system, the impoverished class would barely exist, if at all.

Ha! Many thanks

There is no 'middle' class. There is only ownership and labour.

At this point? I'd go back way farther. Probably whenever the remnants of the Dixiecrats moved into their ranks.

You can't remove the right to strike. That's dictatorship-level behaviour. Fuck the NSW govt. Solidarity from Canada.

I just wish I could have had a better health story. Tumor as a baby, shunt breaking at 32, and numerous mental health crises in between.

Quick! Who has a sick superspreader kid? You could be a hero with one simple trick!

"Hundreds of thousands of households are without power Tuesday morning across Quebec after a first night of relentless snowfall brought as much as 35 centimeters of snow to parts of the province. Some school boards are asking that students stay at home."

Again I ask, why are our transmission lines not underground? Is it because it is too difficult to dig into the Canadian Shield or something? I live in Sudbury, so I am not one of the effected, but it seems bad that deep into the 21st century we can still have power outages like this that impact so many of our citizens.
