I choose to believe the heavy chested fur person is pushing an oblong egg shaped boulder since they look to be standing almost straight.

I really enjoy your optimism and historical accuracy. I hope you're correct and that's the direction things take.

Yeah, I'm not good with the words.

I think any Congress person who would vote against the tariffs might get a phone call.

Maybe the corporation, who's stock they hold, gets a tariff exemption if they vote this down?

Maybe, if they show their hand that they plan to vote in favor of this they get primaried.

All this to say, our current crop of politicians can't be trusted to do the right thing. Although, they can be trusted to do what's in their own self interest.

Why didn't you say that?! I'm over here thinking you're a troll!

Yes it's complicated, I agree. My perception of his presidency was that he didn't try hard enough to get things pushed through.

I know he is a centrist so he would never have pushed for an economic agenda that's more keynesian. I just wish he fought harder as a president. This is why I think he laid the foundation for Trump's rightwing populism.

Yeah, vaguely gesturing about the difficulties of a party having all 3 branches of government for 4 months and passing legislation that almost helps everyone.

Obama was a mediocre president.

We have arrived at a disagreement. I believe things can get better.

Right, so no beliefs. Now we can continue posting back and forth out of spite.

I have no issues with that statement. I would agree with you. Would you agree we can do better?

You got lucky. I'm understanding how vacuous your argument is and, it's making me curious if you have any beliefs.

I did my daughter's ponytail, unprompted, much to my wife's surprise. She loved it and I felt like I was taking a zen garden.

She needed to redo my work but, was still proud of myself.
