According to the auction site (https://www.sav.com/auctions/details/7073489/hexbear.net), they ended up paying 2365 dollars for it.

Hexbear is a lemmy instance whose website link was put on auction recently, so they weren't able to interact with anyone else until they recently got their website back.

Most instances aren't federated with hexbear for obvious reasons, but some are so that's why you sometimes see them in the comment sections of posts.

I can't tell if you're trolling or not, but that's a nice joke if you are.

The Lithuanian spelling translates back to English as more like "Buy like a european". I think a more accurate translation would be "Pirk iš Europos" or "Pirk Europietiškas." The second suggested option is a more direct translation of Buy European.

That implies that shitty people can't become successful businessmen, which is simply not true (just look at every billionaire ever).

And that Trump is a successful businessman, even though most of his businesses ran themselves into the ground and he at some points of his life was millions (or billions, can't remember completely accurately) of dollars in debt.

In his mind, it's probably Biden's fault.

Well what you could do is put calcium chloride into the concrete and that'll fuck up the chemical composition of Portlandcement and most steel reinforcements found in concrete.

So instead of sugar, use salt.

That it conflicts with the second viewpoint.

Wouldn't that be the state rather than the country? Or is that synonymous?
