Venezuela possesses the largest proven oil reserves in the world.

And we are currently one of the poorest countries.

Some places get electric cuts daily, others dont even have any.

Running water comes once a week.

ZERO supplies in ANY hospital.

holes in every street.

No public lighting in the streets.

Wages of 200$ a month (recently increased, it used to be LESS THAN ONE DOLLAR DURING 5 YEARS!

Those people are payed for.

In Venezuela they still march for the left after the 15million migrants, the electrical shortage, the famine, the lack of public health, the 3 coinage changes, they still march.

“First, Trump essentially sues the IRS for taxpayer dollars for himself, and then he says he’ll drop the lawsuit if he gets his $1.7 billion slush fund for the January 6th insurrectionists that he pardoned...

Standard A: On-Screen Representation
This is the category your first two points fall under. A film meets this standard if it achieves one of the following:

Lead or Significant Supporting Actors: At least one of the lead actors or significant supporting actors is from an underrepresented racial or ethnic group.

General Ensemble Cast: At least 30% of all actors in secondary and minor roles are from at least two underrepresented groups (Women, LGBTQ+, underrepresented racial/ethnic groups, or people with disabilities).

Main Storyline: The primary storyline, theme, or narrative is centered on an underrepresented group.

Standard B: Creative Leadership and Project Team
This aligns with your third point. To meet this standard, the film needs:

Department Heads: At least two of the following creative leadership roles (e.g., Director, Casting Director, Cinematographer, Costume Designer, Editor, Producer, etc.) must be from underrepresented groups.

Other Key Roles: At least one of those positions must belong to an underrepresented racial or ethnic group.

Overall Team: At least 30% of the overall crew must be from underrepresented groups.

Standard C: Industry Access and Opportunities
This focuses on the "pipeline" of talent:

Paid Internships: The major studio or distributor must have substantive, paid internship or apprenticeship programs for underrepresented groups.

Training/Workshops: The film’s production, distribution, or financing company must offer training and professional development for below-the-line workers.

Standard D: Audience Development
This concerns the marketing and distribution teams:

Marketing & Publicity: The studio or film company must have multiple senior executives from underrepresented groups on their marketing, publicity, and distribution teams.

So, I dont wanna dish on anybody, but no wonder movies lately have been feeling off, heartless, rehashed, and generally underwelming...

If the criteria for landing a role is based on the race rather than the skills, how is that better than racism?

Take for example the new Troya. I love Lupitas acting and I used to love Hellen Page, but how are you gonna cast as example of virility and manhood a person that isnt even a real man (My apologies for this community, Im not trying to downplay you, but these people ARE public and bound for critisizim even when they do no wrong) and in what universe is Lupita the prettiest woman on earth? have they seen any other black girl?

I need your takes, and sorry if mines upset you, I get it.

The colors of nature always amazes me.

From Venezuela, with love.
Bon Apetit.

For me its either Frankie or Hickey.

Also, fantasy or not, incest maybe?
