That's... A really gray area to be declaring homophobia and a lifetime ban, imo. One of those instances where talking it out and education would probably have been the better response, but it's not way over the line either.

Hey everyone! I'm not quite sure about the name of the community, might need a bit of workshopping there. Feel free to speak up if you have a suggestion for it!

So, about the comm. !Comicstrips@lemmy.world is doing great, but recently it's been pretty heavy on political stuff. Largely US-centric politics, to boot. There's no easy way to get just the funnies that I want from there, so here we are! I'll try to curate and repost the funny stuff I see in my daily activities, but I hope you guys will pitch in with me! Even just commenting will be greatly appreciated!

This is very much a work in progress, so please share any thoughts and feedback you have.

I agree it's not optimal, but I fail to see how it's a 'backfire'. Would it be preferable to be dumping it all in landfills?

I've been away from thunder for a few months (some bug or other that was affecting me badly at the time), and it's cool to see how much the app has progressed since.
