Made me chuckle.

Oh shit right thanks. Yeah that's simply wrong. The absolute minority controlling isn't what voting is about, as we all know.

Get that "let them eat cake" era back and sort that whole damn mess out. What a corrupt entire system.

Lol. My ex wife used orange paper once saying that it would be good to stand out. She didn't even get an interview. She was about 36 at the time.

Can somebody please tell me what that Citizens United ruling is all about ?

( Brit in Australia )

Oh my, those last two are news to me. There was actually a Tv series called To The Manor Born, so I'm blaming that.

Now, about that pint of Guinness.

Well to be fair I think I've wrecked my brain a few times thinking about things too much.

Yeah sorry but where did I say that our government is "planning to enact atrocities" ?

All I'm saying in a tongue in cheek kinda way ( but half on the fence because the way the world goes at times ) is that "we" really don't know.

But in a very serious tone, I fully appreciate what you do and I'm glad we have a system in place. Using tech for good is a wonderful thing. Respect to you.

Sadly we really don't know that's all.

What are they getting us prepared for ?

[–] DiaDeLosMuertos@aussie.zone 2 points 1 week ago

Yeah fair enough mate. I was actually staying there, but hey I only met a handful of locals to be fair. And I could see oh so very much how the whole area is reliant on the coal and power stations. It's been a growing area too, well closer to the coast that is. It would be a major concern for many I'm sure.

While this levy on fuel has been in place, the ridiculous and arbitrary rise and fall in fuel prices has not occurred. Why is that ?

I've been getting unleaded for $1.50 and less. Before the reduction I could get it for that when other places not a million miles away could be 80 cents per litre dearer.

That the fluctuations have ceased during recent times seem to me to be proof that the rises are nothing but price gouging, proving once again that the ACCC are a toothless tiger.

So I have to assume that when/if things get back to "normal", the fuel suppliers will go back to their previous merry ways with zero consequences.

It's now kinda mine but really the banks but I dunno, wish me luck ?

I just received an email from the Fire Protection Industry. They reap millions in licence fees. You'd think they could afford a proof reader.
