Best part is, it's not only US lol. I am from EU, one of countries that back in 2000 were...let's say backwater (thanks USSR). I remember as a kid watching news about new tech, seeing the new, bold designs, getting hands on west tech, everyone talked how it gets better, ozone layer hole? BOOM, nobody cares cuz fixed, we can do anything!

And then I grew up and and, except for internet getting faster and more bland, nothing happened. I love e-bikes, or EV overall but...don't take me wrong, it felt like this would be common by 2010. Games got so photorealistic that I turn to indie because if I wanted photorealsitic I'd go touch grass, I'd rather have...you know, the story and wordbuilding progress keeping up. The bold and rabid culture in the net shifted towards defeated and tired. Even news...once something that irked most politicians and was a thorn in the side of everyone for the joy of the public turned into some damned advertisement machine.

Signed, defeated and tired

Avid fan of fallout new vegas here. Slight dislike for fallout 3 ( felt weirdly long ), and slight dislike for fallout 4 ( good game, shit fallout ).

I love Fallout 76. Fight me <3

It's nowhere near fallout new vegas for me, wrong category altogether. But it's beautiful, it managed to grab the goofy parts of fallout character perfectly, the grim storytelling is there and it's level is proper. Gameplay is fun. So yeah.

Now however, I witheld from touching it until last year as I was not touching the steamy pile of bat guano it was at launch buuut...

If you thought the country needed you and you thought you could really help our nation, is there even a one percent chance you’d consider running?

“Just between us, and the readers of this magazine — there’s zero chance,” Mrs. Obama replied.

Yeah, can't say I am surprised. I mean, she saw what that did to her husband. Not sure how it looks from USA pov, but from outside, the man visually aged two decades during his cadency.

...nevermind, this AI can actually be made sentient. I mean it will sass people to all hells, but I love it's "no shit given" approach lol xD

I have shitass intelligent bulbs. In case of lost connection, they work like standard bulbs via , you know, switching lights on or off via switch. Wtf. Also app allows me to connect via bluetooth and just requires me to be on the same wifi.

Cheap intelligent lightbulbs apparently are better xD

Ya all are hella out of my league on the topic, just wanted to slightly butt in as someone who failed uni.

I blamed professors for their outdated approach. Especially the long, dry lectures...oh my god these were terrible. Because I was doing them wrong. All my years at school we were taught to write down everything, which doesn't work in uni. So yeah, first fail. Best part, in high school there were two professors who valiantly fought to teach us how to take notes. Mostly failed.

Second fail is...I've gone there because everyone was pushing me to go there. I wasn't ready. Had no passion, no motivation, no target. I wondered how certain people were doing better than everyone else - only after I fixed my mental health I noticed that these people had some target. They worked towards something specific - wanted to advance in one of the fields, or were curious about topic, and thus things came easier to them. Most of us were...more like jellyfish. We were there, wherever current takes us we go, most folk had barely any or none at all idea what they want except "finish studies". God how it hurts to look at all the opportunities I not only didn't take, but didn't even notice...

Overall, primary, middle and high school are made for people to flow with the current and find out what interests them. To take them through science. But uni seems more like a freelance guide on a tour. You need to know what you wanna do or see first, guide will then help you get most out of it.

But I don't believe it's students fault for failing either. Why the hell are people funelled so hard to uni? Most folk this age don't know shit yet, are still trying things out. Were I to take two year pause between high school and uni, I may have not drifted.

Art has soul in it. Ai has no soul.

That and speed. Higher speed - higher energy usage. Not only does e-bikes go 25km/h (compared to ev motorbikes 75km/h), but also, like you mentioned, part of that is supplied from your muscles.

All in all, ev motorbikes are just glorified scooter as of now.

Meh. Eating them raw, whole ass like apple, no salt or whatevs. Sometimes with salt if I wanna. Putting in sandwhiches, eating in salads, or cut into pieces. Love em.

Bemoaning that I cannot put them in sandwhiches taken to work T-T They are too juicy and sandwhich becomes messy AF before break comes.
