I have had decent luck with Aliexpress. I find like anywhere, you get what you pay for. I find they have the same quality as Amazon, and actually better consistency. Amazon just doesn't aggressively market their cheap crap like those sites seem to.

It would be fascinating to see converted unit alcohol volume and benzodiazepine sales over time since the election...

Honeybees compete for resources with native bees and are much more efficient foragers, and it's hard to state the scope of impact they have had on native bee populations, but most believe it to be significant.

They were introduced to North America in the 1600s and then again, over repeated colonizations as colonizers were frustrated that native bees didn't produce honey. Native Americans called them "white man's flies".

Africanized honey bees were introduced from South America around the 1990s. Which are even more aggressive in their foraging and nature then their European cousins, although produce more honey.

Native bees are relatively docile and some variants lack the ability to sting at all.

Here is an article, or op ed about the problem: https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/the-problem-with-honey-bees/

I think the bigger thing is ending the <$800 loophole. This is going to kill sites like AliExpress and Shein.

Who cares then, aren't they only useful for monocropping large farms? Most US bee enthusiasts would instantly cull every honey bee if they could.

Vanellope would certainly piss.

That's crazy. I knew people who would send massive amounts of concentrates across the country, and I thought that was risky enough haha

If they can send Fentalogs and Fentanyl through the mail, you can send Mifepristone.

The first thing I would do is ask why? I am no fan of Hooters, but I fail to see the strategy they see. Your going to have to do so much marketing to get any new traction and you run the very real risk of conservatives calling Hooters woke and losing a lot of your existing clientele.

As title suggests, in your opinion what are some of the best recipes you know that have good leftovers?

We hate cooking everyday, and love when there are leftovers, especially tasty leftovers. What dishes in your recipe book lend themselves to tasty, easy to reheat leftover meals?

Cottage pie is probably the one I can think of that is dominant in our household. Cheap and tastes almost the same reheated.

My car sometimes doesn't get driven for a week at a time, between that and winter cold I am having constant issues with it dying and needing to be trickle charged. My engine also seems to want a lot of juice for it to turnover.

Would an AGM battery last longer between charges? Would it perform better in the cold? Is there any better solution than just making sure some regularly drives it a few times a week?

Edit: It seems Costco lists an AGM for my car cheaper than a lot of regular batteries, so it seems like I will find out either way... But I am still curious if people think this will solve my charging problems.

Someone found this buried in the terms and conditions of tiktok and is saying that it somehow means Facebook owns it.

What is this actually supposed to be telling me?

If so what do they call it?

I feel like I am going crazy, because I thought for sure it exists and can't seem to find one.

Basically looking for an all in one device where you can plug in HDMI, USB, etc. to make it easier for guests to present.

Game suggestions for PS5 (sh.itjust.works)
submitted 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago) by [email protected] to c/[email protected]

I don't usually have much time to play games, so I have missed most games when they were popular.

I currently have a PS5 and would like some suggestions.

What I seemed to have liked:

  • Shooters with complex upgrade systems
  • Hack and slash
  • Games with interesting economies

Games I liked in the past:

  • Champions of Norrath
  • Borderlands
  • Fallout
  • Resident Evil

I don't like:

  • Games that feel too closed off
  • Games that are unnecessarily difficult
  • Really repetitive grinding
  • Sports games
  • When it doesn't let you save at any time

I was wondering if there are any good collection's of books available for torrent. Like maybe classics, or top 1,000 sci-fi, etc. Does that exist?
