Nicotine has deep claws, that's for sure. I wasn't even a particularly heavy smoker and I still get a craving sometimes even coming up on ten years since I quit. Hell, I have the occasional dream about smoking still.
It's very close between them but while Norris still probably has the edge on speed I think Piastri still has some room to grow before he hits his ceiling. I also think Piastri's racecraft is better than Norris's, too.

LW are hesitant to do major changes because if something goes wrong it disrupts the entire Lemmy ecosystem. It's a direct negative consequence of them growing too big, but once they're in this position I can understand their reservations. I too wish they'd implement upgrades faster but I have no reason to believe they will just refuse to implement an upgrade forever, that's unreasonable to assume.
Lemmy.nz is what, about 100 MAU? And I know a Blåhaj admin is Australian but Fedi Observer has the server listed as based in Finland and hosted in Germany. Don't know if that's wrong though. Are their users also reporting delays?

Latching on to your Lovecraftian recommendations I'd like to put forth Skald: Against the Black Priory, which should presumably also run excellently on the Steam Deck. Keep an eye out for it during the sale, it's a great tribute to retro CRPGs and has a wonderfully gloomy lovecraftian vibe.

Option for a clearer distinction on who is the OP of a thread. I often don't notice the small icon, and it's useful information to have for context. Some other apps have a colored background behind the username of the OP, which I find helps a lot.
Different font colour on the "(X new comments)" on a post to better draw attention to posts with new comments
Option to have a different font colour on pinned posts to help them stand out, especially useful for communities with lots of pinned posts, or to find stuff like announcements and weekly discussion threads in your home feed easier
Support for Atkinson Hyperlegible font as an accessibility option

Anyone up to date on the Iceshrimp .NET rewrite? It looks like it's sort of up and running from the GitHub page, but they don't run a flagship instance themselves. Is there any instance up and running it at the moment?
