Yep there's so much pressure on women to stay in relationships no matter what

Transactional is a good way of putting it! Their expectations for women are high (unpaid housemaid and nanny, attractive etc) and they think their necessary "payment" is minor. You see a lot of entitlement, and then resentment. Then of course it's our fault!

Bitterness in the tone, even if it's just for a second. Maybe a slight eyebrow raise or almost eye roll as well.

No patience with women having trouble with driving, DIY or other things women are more likely to struggle with.

Often makes disparaging remarks about famous women, for example tears apart a politicians views or ridicules a female performer. Doesn't seem to do that with men.

 

Hey all, today is the last day for our our survey on what you want the community to be like. I've started collating the responses and I'll have a post covering it tomorrow. Really appreciated everyone's input so far!

 

People tend to focus on the negative but there's so many "symptoms" we have that are brilliant! What are yours?

 

For me it was that I really liked the music and I LOVED the style, it was so striking and fun. I also found it really welcoming, and people of all types were welcomed and included.

 

It's Monday, usually a difficult day and April is Stress Awareness Month. How do you manage work related stress?
