I don't agree. Calling it a buzzword diminishes the terrible things that are happening in the world. There's really a lot of parallels to the 1930s which is really worrying because the 1930s led to the 1940s.

True I've been wondering if they're just really busy doctoring all those files before they release them and that's why they're stalling.

I don't think individualism is bad per se. I'm very left but individualist. It just means I'm not bound to groupthink. I have my own opinions and i temporarily align with political parties but never have unquestioning loyalty to any party or country. If anything that unquestioning loyalty is a hallmark of fascism and not very individualistic. The extreme right is a group cult and people who speak against the group narrative are exiled immediately.

I'm from Holland so being left is a lot more left than in the US. Yet I can still speak my mind at political meetings even if it's against the group opinion.

They do exhibit some individualistic properties but more as a group. But inside the group the forced groupthink is extremely strong.

And individualism isn't just about what's good for a person. I'm individualist but I still care about the environment as it's important to me and the people i care about.

Even that is getting close with trump basically acting as a king

Though what I really want is the series to continue. I know there's a 30 year gap in the books (I've read them) but the show doesn't follow the books religiously anyway.

Well no. I'm not parroting anything, it is my own opinion that supporting Israel's genocide is bad. In fact my own country (Holland) is a very big Israel supporter and I hate that and I often criticise that.

In fact the republican outrage wasn't genuine because they stopped complaining when they won and their own leader started doing the same (in fact he is bigger bros with netanyaho than biden was). I called out their hypocrisy with their "Genocide Joe" statements which I don't support (because it flattens a complex issue to a slur).

When I say "supporting evil" I mean supporting netanyahu. I wouldn't stay silent on criticising this even if the alternative is worse. I just don't believe in black/white discussions and I'm not a team player, I don't get told what to think. I mean I wouldn't support the democrats supporting Israel even when the republicans are worse (and they also support Israel).

If I were American I would still vote for the democrats but I would protest their support of Israel. Though if I were American I'd leave and renounce my nationality tbh.

But really the democrats unrelenting support for Israel was unjustifiable and it was right to be called out. You don't support evil just because it's the least bad option or something. I guess there's a lot of money filling the coffers from there or something but it doesn't matter, it is wrong.
