This looks good. Iโll give it a try, thank you very much.
I am also using the default apple reminders app but with my selfhosted Nextcloud account, which makes it independent of the apple ecosystem.
That could be a solution, but the thing is, Iโm trying to slowly migrate all of the tools Iโm using to something thatโs independent on the platform. To be able to freely switch between iOS and Android whenever I want. (Preferrably to a degoogled Android). Iโm also the person in our household who brings the new alternative, test it, make sure it will work crossplatform with other family members and so onโฆ
As of now Iโm still not ready to โjump the shipโ, but I want to gather portfolio of tools to be able to do so at any time without significant discomfort (especially cnsidering other family members which are less open to experimentation)
There is no problem using the default reminders app as it is caldav compatible. So as long as you do not use iCloud I do not see a problem there.
Iโm not sure if I understand, but how would you access those reminder lists on Android devices? Is that possible somehow?
As I currently have no android device I can not recommend any apps, but I'm sure there are some caldav (it's a standard) compatible apps which allow consuming the caldav todo list.
Ha, I canโt help but I am absolutely addicted to the reminders app on my iphone (a couple of years old, will be buying european next).
I hadnโt even thought about this app!
I shall be on the look out for a new app as well and will report back if anything seems interesting.
Im using jtx board with task sync via WebDAV (davx5 app) and sync to sogo including mail and contacts. I don't know if there is an analog app for iOS but I would guess so.
