This is a community in the spirit of "Am I The Asshole" where people can post their own bans from lemmy or reddit or whatever and get some feedback from others whether the ban was justified or not.
Sometimes one just wants to be able to challenge the arguments some mod made and this could be the place for that.
All posts should follow this basic structure:

FWIW the names are often intentionally hidden through a setting in the Lemmy admin panel.
Pretty sure it's a server default so I'm not sure it's always intentional. It was just configured that way when they set up their server.
On the web browser you can filter by mod, which is useful if there are like two mods for a community (or one really active mod that you are already aware of) but not very helpful when there are very many as it becomes very tedious.
My guess is they didn't want to make it easy to see who modded each action to avoid the general log being treated as personal actions instead of a list of things that happened. They probably added in a filter so one could see the actions of a mod kind of like the filter by user.
I would love one additional filter for community.
Nothing like getting a speeding ticket for going 44mph in a 45 because you came close to breaking the law.
