When can we primary her?
Tried to get Hill Harper in last election, but centrists probably fucked us, as always.
Hill Harper disappeared. I searched for information about him everywhere - newspapers, league of women voters, vote 411. There was nothing. He did some publicity announcing his candidacy. Then for whatever reason, didn’t follow through.

Hill Harper had a fundraiser with reprehensible transphobe Dave Chappelle. He also did not say anything about trans people on his website. You don't count as a leftist if you're transphobic.
The website is still up and does in fact mention trans people. I didn't hear about the Chappelle appearance, that is awful.

How did you find that? I couldn't find it by navigating from the front page.
I especially couldn't find it linked from his "priorities".
I searched it from duckduckgo, its a subdomain and isn't cross linked as far as I can tell, but he put it up and presumably sent it as part of an ad campaign.
That doesn't sound like someone who takes lgbtq rights seriously, especially combined with doing a fundraiser with Dave Chappelle. When I saw he was doing that, I was like "okay, you need to make a pretty strong case that you care about trans people". And this is all he's got. We didn't make it into his priorities.
Well neither does someone who left trans rights out of their rebuttal to Trump's state of the Union, and Harper is notably less genocidal than Slotkin and likely more progessive on economics. We'll never know how much of an ally Harper would have been, but we currently have two useless senators in MI.
It would be her most vulnerable as it's her first term, but she just got elected, so people likely won't care in 6 years.
She gots to go.

I'll cut to the chase - what Sanders and Ocasio-Cortez have done that so many other Democrats seem to have a tough time with, is correctly identifying the problem as wealthy businesses and individuals hurting Americans through their brazen and unchecked extraction of wealth, and rallying a broad base of people over that. The DNC has picked up the approval of everyone who is happy with the Democrats trying to become more Republican (so they're at like 29%).
How to keep your state purple and not blue
Because seeing people actually fighting for us builds coalitions, and energizes people to take action. Seeing limpdick democrats do literally nothing has the exact opposite effect.
Who the fuck is Slotkin and why would anyone care what she thinks. POS neoliberals need to get bent.
Alas, she's our POS senator. We need to care what she thinks in that we need to control what she thinks, because she thinks a lot of wrong things. There was an anti-trans bill in the senate, and the Democrats filibustered it, and on the cloture vote, amazingly, All the Democrats correctly voted No on cloture. Except Slotkin and, like, one other, who did not vote. We needed her vote and she did not show up for us.

It seems to have kept ker from voting for the Republican CR at least, so there's hope.
