It's not like the bony-eared assfish is going to clap back, not with the smallest brain-to-body weight ratio of all known vertebrates.

[–] Diplomjodler3@lemmy.world 86 points 1 year ago (1 children)

But he's going to make America great again, for sure.

[–] miss_demeanour@lemmy.dbzer0.com 10 points 1 year ago

No boney assfishes about it.

Huh usually these memes are edited but this one is surprisingly real https://wikipedia.org/wiki/Bony-eared_assfish

“…assfish are soft and flabby…”

Gold

[–] MisterFrog@lemmy.world 8 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Wikipedia seems to not be unanimous on the brain-to-body ratio claim. There's a discussion link next to the citation.

At least the Latin name is still diplomatic, as always

[–] Klear@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

I thought the name had to be edited given that it looks different from the rest of the text, but on reflection it's just because it is a hyperlink.

They roasted it because they know better than to do it raw

Also, per wikipedia, assfish are soft and flabby.

Bony ear-assfish doesn't sound too good either.

[–] RedSnt@feddit.dk 7 points 1 year ago (1 children)

To be fair, not a lot going on needing a bigger brain 1+km below the water surface where this creature hangs out. Also, apparently it's ass as in donkey, not the other kind.

[–] pancakes@sh.itjust.works 2 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (1 children)

It is an assfish, not a gyattfish after all.

[–] Nog00d@lemmy.world 5 points 1 year ago (1 children)

[–] DragonsInARoom@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago

Aside from your mother

[–] lowleveldata@programming.dev 4 points 1 year ago

[–] umbrella@lemmy.ml 4 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

[–] Worthess@discuss.online 2 points 1 year ago

I can almost guarantee it that that fish was really annoying

[–] humanspiral@lemmy.ca 1 points 1 year ago
