Real pros intentionally put a glass of water on the bedside table before they go to bed.

You spelled beer wrong.

Can confirm, am in bed now with a glass of beer.

Ah yes, nothing wakes you up in the morning like warm beer and the taste of toothpaste

[–] [email protected] 5 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Who said I was gonna let the beer get warm?

Yeah, but I never said I was going to sleep, I'm just in bed..

Beer is nearing empty and still cold 👍

I love beer and all, but that would fuck up your teeth and mouth biome.

Stale water

Use a glass bottle

Stale water? Like you're talking about getting dust in there or what? Hasn't been an issue for me over eight hours.

I’ve also heard people associate the taste of a little chlorine from treatment with freshness and when the water sits the chlorine does some science thing like either evaporating or dissolved further

Don’t quote me on this tho I read it… somewhere (?). That should tell you how well I remember it

Stale water? Lmao

[–] [email protected] 3 points 7 months ago (1 children)

I carry my stainless steel water bottle everywhere. It's wonderful at night!

....Just don't put a full, heavy water bottle in a place where it could potentially fall on your head / face while you're sleeping.

When the water is not nearby

[–] [email protected] 4 points 7 months ago

Or it’s empty

[–] [email protected] 6 points 7 months ago (1 children)

I’m not going to question how SpongeBob can pour out water while underwater.

[–] [email protected] 11 points 7 months ago

Pretty sure he's in Sandy's dry bubble dome during this scene.

Nothing is quite as satisfying as a big gulp of water when you are parched

Not to be alarmist, but insatiable thirst can be a symptom of diabetes. It and night sweats were the two symptoms I had prior to my diagnosis. I recommend every one occasionally get their blood sugar tested just to be safe.

It could also be your body saying "Yo we haven't ingested fluid in like 6 hours. Fix it."
