8. Misinformation is prohibited.

9. No link shorteners or news aggregators.
All posts must link to original article sources. You may include archival links in the post description. News aggregators such as Yahoo, Google, Hacker News, etc. should be avoided in favor of the original source link. It isn't even a slap.
Put. His. Ass. In. Prison! He's fucking guilty. Anything less is an abdication of justice. Let the constitutional chips fall where they may. Trump stalled and delayed and avoided this as long as he could, it's not the judge's fault the President might be inaugurated from prison.
Standard sentencing guidelines wouldn't likely give him jail time.
The guidelines for a first offense would give him fines and probation, but the judge has indicated he's inclined to give him nothing.
The judge would be entirely within the margins to give Trump actual jail time, though.
'standard sentencing guidelines' likely don't include things like 'the crimes committed helped the defendant to obtain the office of president of the united states, allowing him and his associates to profit to the tune of billions of dollars; harmed millions of individuals and the environment; and set the nation and world back a decade or more'
unlawfully interfering with the election helped the convicted to obtain the ultimate result from the commission of that offense: the highest office in the land. the punishment here should reflect that--maximum allowed by law, both in time-to-serve for each count, and the financial penalty.

I'm fact it does.Falsifying business records isn't usually a felony. But since it was seemed to be covering up another crime (defrauding the American people) it became a felony.
He's not going to face any real punishment so why bother? They just don't want to waste political capital on this.
Oh no he might ~~pay a fine!~~ spend the next decade appealing paying a fine!
With his lifestyle, nature will pardon him from having to pay that fine long before it gets to the point where he can't appeal it to a higher court.
But he'll be a convicted felon, so he won't be able to buy a gun in the state of New York anymore! We got him!
If the consequences are a fine, it's only illegal for poor people.

I hope I’m wrong, but it wouldn’t surprise me if everything recently wasn’t according to plan. Everyone stalls the trials long enough to get Trump elected, and now that he’s elected, let the trials continue until he’s found guilty. Use that as a means to impeach Trump from office, and then replace him with a younger, less smelly, boot licker that’s easier to control.
He already was found guilty on 34 counts by a jury in May. This is about his sentencing
Trump would never let himself go down like that. He will burn the country down before that happens. With his cult, he has the means to do it. The Republicans made a monster and they are stuck with him.
Unfortunately, the rest of us are stuck with him too.

This is just an air of impartiality so that they can claim the same for all the terrible thing they are about to do.
