Not sure how many people are gonna get this TNG / Drew Carey Show mashup, but here it is anyway.
I remember being annoyed at a friend that would flake on stuff, and she'd say she was "busy". I was like "We're all busy. It's not about being busy. It's about what you prioritize."
But now I'm older and try not to get bothered by that sort of thing anymore.
Yep it sucks to realize you're not their priority but it also is healthy to simply accept that you're not their priority.
Wondering if they have a support group for those who were children raised in an environment where they were put in a literal life-or-death situation about 26 times a year.
