Even as a customer I can’t stand it. But yeah, most staff I’ve spoken with confirm that it’s actually upsetting listening to the same 20 songs on repeat every day.
Last year, the nearby supermarket played only four songs on repeat. When customers complained they added a fifth.
Wow. Trolling the customers and the staff there.
Being a musician I can only imagine myself running amok after the 3rd Christmas song on repeat on the radio while trying to be nice to any customers.

I solve the problem of hearing various crap from supermarket speakers by using noise-isolating headphones, using self-checkout and leaving the store without having to listen to anyone at all.
We should frame her for something truly despicable.
