Russia has attacked a power plant in the eastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiv despite Donald Trump’s statement earlier Sunday that both sides had agreed to an "energy ceasefire," according to Ukrainian officials.

A local official told ABC News the thermal power plant CHP-5 was struck at least twice, causing a fire. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in a statement confirmed Russia had attacked the plant, as well as another in Kyiv, saying it had taken place after Trump's announcement.

Donald Trump is a Liar, Putin is his master, and both of these people deserve death.

Just as everyone expected and predicted.

when drumpf announced the ceasefire, he meant Ukraine was supposed to stop shooting, not russia.

And Trump had been right on the verge of getting that Nobel Peace Prize that he had his heart set on, too.

There are certainly a lot of ceasefires called, but not ~~many~~any actually upheld. I think he's just imagining the talks.

Oh, hes talking. The talks are revolving around what Putin expects to ensure that the dirt he has on Trump doesn't leak.

I'm just glad he ended this war within 24 hours of taking office, like he said. Trum is actually a big anti-war guy.

They were indexing bots, not troll farm bots. Because Yandex is a search engine.

Jesus, the amount of bullshit around this is astounding.

[–] A1kmm@lemmy.amxl.com 3 points 2 weeks ago

And a cloud provider that hosts things. That's like saying 'because Amazon is an online bookseller', or 'because Google is a search engine', when both have significant lines of business (in Amazon's case, bigger than their original business) hosting things for others.

In Yandex's case, some of those will be military stuff, some will be troll farms, and some will be running things for Russian businesses.
