Rules: (interactive)

1) Be nice and; have funDoxxing, trolling, sealioning, racism, toxicity and dog-whistling are not welcomed in AskLemmy. Remember what your mother said: if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. In addition, the site-wide Lemmy.world terms of service also apply here. Please familiarize yourself with them

2) All posts must end with a '?'This is sort of like Jeopardy. Please phrase all post titles in the form of a proper question ending with ?

3) No spamPlease do not flood the community with nonsense. Actual suspected spammers will be banned on site. No astroturfing.

4) NSFW is okay, within reasonJust remember to tag posts with either a content warning or a [NSFW] tag. Overtly sexual posts are not allowed, please direct them to either !asklemmyafterdark@lemmy.world or !asklemmynsfw@lemmynsfw.com. NSFW comments should be restricted to posts tagged [NSFW].

5) This is not a support community.
It is not a place for 'how do I?', type questions. If you have any questions regarding the site itself or would like to report a community, please direct them to Lemmy.world Support or email info@lemmy.world. For other questions check our partnered communities list, or use the search function.

6) No US Politics.
Please don't post about current US Politics. If you need to do this, try !politicaldiscussion@lemmy.world or !uspolitics@lemmy.world

7) No Hit-and-Run questions.
Please don't delete your post for no apparent reason. If you plan on deleting a question later, say so in the post, or if you feel that you have a good reason to remove it, message a mod beforehand. Women: Kathleen Turner, Jennifer Tilly, Joey Lauren Adams

Men: Keith David, Sam Elliott, Will Arnett

Conclusion: I like raspy women and gravelly men.

Boring answer, but even as someone who loves good voices, celebrities just don’t turn me on at all. I can acknowledge when they have good looks or a nice voice but it doesn’t register as being sexy.

Chesapeake in the new InfoWars. Her voice is just like honey in my ears.

Any woman that has a raspy sounding voice.

He has a great voice, but it's so hard for me to separate it from the character of Charles Emerson Winchester III.

Terri Brosius (SHODAN), Jennifer Hale, Tara Strong (depending on voice), anyone who does a good marge simpson impression

[–] Apeman42@lemmy.world 3 points 2 weeks ago

Have you heard Melissa Villaseñor as Marge? She at least did it on this SNL weed gummy sketch (~2:12), and it's eerily accurate.

I'm gonna need more voice clips y'all. I don't know who any of these people are.

Im not a big aural person I guess. Like I could never understand the phone sex thing. Now don't get me wrong a sexual partner can really enhance the experience audio wise but word wise more early on. Once into it the grunts, groans, and other expressions are equal or better than words. Although sometimes them trying to be vocal and not being able to is rather stimulating. Overall though I think I rather read a decent sex story over hearing one.

Damn, there is a lemmy community for Japanese voice actors but I can't remember how it's spelled.
