I don't even know how to make friends irl. Even on a gaming discord channel, I'll see people in the voice chat playing a game I'm playing and be like, 'If I go in there, what am I going to say? I have nothing to say. I don't even know these people. Fuck it, I'm not going in there. I'm going to play on my own, fuck them, those fucking assholes.'

And then nothing changes.

The hate that Nickelback initially received was only because it was 'cool' to hate Nickelback. It had nothing to do with their music, there is even documentaries about it on YouTube.

But much later on, there was something else they did to make people actually hate (for an actual reason) cant remember what it was now.

For those say in their 60s or 70s here. When you were in your 30's or 40's did you have the feeling that the world was a fucked up place? So much has been going on since I entered adulthood in the early 2000s and I feel like it's getting more and more intense. It's never ending.

Is it unique? Or has it always been this way?

I've seen two posts today of ICE agents arresting and terrorising 'alleged' US citizens. Where are the bearers of arms who bear arms in case of government tyranny? Is now the time to rise up and force back this disgraceful bullshit we're seeing in the US?

I'm wondering if anyone on here is estranged from their immediate family and what was their experience explicitly when their parents died and had to deal with inheritance? My parents are divorced and my father (and whatever family there is left) I have in recent years walked away from. Occasionally, I ponder on what happens in regards to inheritance when he dies between my stepmother, full brother and half brother. I don't see any of them. I'm assuming I won't be on his will but I am not interested in any inheritance.

Has anyone else been in this situation and how did you approach it? What actually happens? Would I be contacted by a lawyer or something?

I went to thetvdb.com site yesterday and much to my surprise, they won't let me in unless I subscribe or turn off my adblocker. Is there any workaround for this?
