All of the remaining support acts on Ed Sheeran's US tour have quit, after the rapper Macklemore was dropped from the line-up for making pro-Palestinian remarks on stage.

Among them were Finneas, the brother of pop star Billie Eilish, who said in a statement: "Artists must not be silenced when they speak up for the oppressed."

Irish singer-songwriter Aaron Rowe and Danish band Lukas Graham also announced their departure. Irish folk band Beoga, who perform with Sheeran on stage every night, dropped out too.

Sheeran posted this on IG:

I am appalled by the conflict between Israel and Palestine. The suffering and pain caused on both sides is a human tragedy.

But when a side has a 1000:1 kill rate and it's actively trying to remove/cleanse/genocide the other side from its foundation...

Ed Sheeran is a fucking coward that tried to say he can't have Macklemore talking about Palestine because of the children in the audience. The appropriate thing for someone with $400m in the bank would have been to cancel the tour, raincheck or refund the tickets and find decent venue owners for the next attempt.

Also, I'm pretty damn sure that Robert Kraft's stadium gets tax money for something. That should fucking stop immediately.
