Most people get their political opinions from everywhere, which is why it's important to take opportunities to talk about politics in non-political situations.

If I feel strongly about something, I share it with the people around me. Celebrities are just people with a lot of people around them. So while I agree that people shouldn't be treating celebrities as political experts, neither should we be acting like celebrities need to stay silent when they have something to share.

Agreed. people can say what they want. My point was the listeners shouldn't be taking the word of non-experts as truth or putting much stock in what they have to say at all.
