Bring it on, we love Australia and New Zealand.
we love ~~Australia and New Zealand~~ those cunts.
Fixed that for you.
It should be noted the current NZ govt prefers trump.
Kia Ora. Lets do something about this come November.
So does Alberta, it's just a bigger challenge and a very good thing to be aware of. Perhaps them being difficult about it might get them out of power
It's a 50/50 split a bit before the election.
Oh I didn't mean immediate thing I just meant that if they are thorn in making this work it might come into play later on in the process and have real change in political leanings in the long run, even if only for a while. It's a pleasant fiction at worst
Which is such a sad shift from what Jacinda had accomplished.
Time to invest in ships.
There were some sail powered cargo ships I saw on a video at some point a while back. Don't remember if it was theoretical designs, currently in production, or already post prototype and being tested
We need to whittle 5 eyes down to 4 eyes.
I was going to say just 1, but the inverse works just as well
Good news, great people.
No more dickhead USA.
And we should do the whole union thing and make a single currancy.
Australia, New Zealand, and Canada are economically so different (not to mention the distance issue) that it would be difficult. The Euro has been a significant challenge for member countries in times of financial crisis. An example would be a significant change in oil prices, which Canada as a significant exporter would want to respond to differently than NZ which is an importer. Canada alone as a large geography has their central bank pulled in opposing directions.
It’s not impossible, but from my non expert perspective it wouldn’t help things.
I dunno about that. I don't disagree with the differences you pointed out, I'll accept them you present then, I'm also no expert, but doing something intentionally knowing it is hard, If you succeed inspite of those differences it will create an incredibly different kind of solution, which maybe we actually need right now.
Specifically the Euros difficulty maybe be too many members a much smaller partnership could be a wonderful opportunity to try things that had promise in Europe but didn't work out for reasons of scale, and not the reasons that derailed them.
Even if it fails it will still be a valuable attempt, if done right. An incredible opportunity perhaps. I might also include Cuba, but I want to do it for perhaps spiteful reasons. It would piss off the USA so badly
