Exactly! Tractors are cool. And this community is for dull things. Shame on you, non-dull tractorist.
Dull Men's Club
An unofficial chapter of the popular Dull Men's Club.
1. Relevant commentary on your own dull life. Posts should be about your own dull, lived experience. This is our most important rule. Direct questions, random thoughts, comment baiting, advice seeking, many uses of "discuss" rarely comply with this rule.
2. Original, Fresh, Meaningful Content.
3. Avoid repetitive topics.
4. This is not a search engine
Use a search engine, a tradesperson, Reddit, friends, a specialist Facebook group, apps, Wikipedia, an AI chat, a reverse image search etc. to answer simple questions or identify objects. Also see rule 1, “comment baiting”.
There are a number of content specific communities with subject matter experts who can help you.
Some other communities to consider before posting:
5. Keep it dull. If it puts us to sleep, it’s on the right track. Examples of likely not dull: jokes, gross stuff (including toes), politics, religion, royalty, illness or injury, killing things for fun, or promotional content. Feel free to post these elsewhere.
6. No hate speech, sexism, or bullying No sexism, hate speech, degrading or excessively foul language, or other harmful language. No othering or dehumanizing of anyone or negativity towards any gender identity.
7. Proofread before posting. Use good grammar and punctuation. Avoid useless phrases. Some examples: - starting a post with "So" - starting a post with pointless phrases, like "I hope this is allowed" or “this is my first post” Only share good quality, cropped images. Do not share screenshots of images; share the original image.

I am ashamed.
This has basically become a wood stacking community.
Shiny! Nice color too.
Mahindra 2126 with loader, backhoe, forks, and front mount snowblower. She's purty.
I love my Mahindra! We have a 2638 with a loader and a 6ft mower. It’s been super solid for almost 7 years now.
Having used an open station tractor and mounted snow blower at -20F for years, I do not recommend it. I much prefer my heated cab in old age dotage. Ain't nothing like blowing snow in your shirt sleeves and slippers.
Fuck yeah
I have new logs and an old tractor. We should be friends.
you are atractored to it!
How can anything be dull with a tractor like that?
The forks are by far my most used implement. Congrats!
As soon as my knee heals up better, I need to clean up wind damage from July yet. Plus I have 5 I need to fall before they become a real pain in the butt and threaten the house. So, my tractor and skidsteer and gator will get a workout then. And when that's done, I need to fix the left hand HVAC blower motor to get ready for winter.
I'm hoping for next month.
I bought an old TEF-20 Ferguson tractor as a project, I got it running and it's been too useful to pull apart and restore. I love driving it
As someone that just bought an acreage, very jealous!
At some point you will probably want to buy one. I grew up on a farm and did do farming myself as a secondary job.
As cool as a new tractor looks, try to avoid buying one. Tractors do not make money, but they do cost money to own. Tractors can last bloody near for ever if you want them to and they can still do the work.
My very first tractor was a 1941 Farmall H. I got it from a great uncle who had taken it all apart. I mean, the head, pistons, and con rods were all laying in his junk pile for a couple years. The exposed block was was open to the elements. I scrounged up all the parts from the pile and loaded everything up and hauled it home. A new set of sleeves and bearings, gaskets, and a valve job later, I had a tractor that I used as a utility tractor around the farm for 30 more years. I added a $150 worth of Stanhoist loader that needed some heat and beat plus welding at an auction and it was the most used tractor I ever owned. I sold it to a nephew a couple of years ago. He gave it a new paint job and decals and the old girl is still the belle of the ball.
