Thanks. I'm now insulted that I'm not on the list! Granted I've only been on Lemmy for a couple of months.
I'm not some DNC loving hardcore Dem or anything but I do tend to lean left on most of my views.
A lot of us are pretty far left for the USA and believe the DNC is compromised by corporate money. I dislike the Democrats but the GOP is run by MAGA who I believe betrayed our country Jan 6th.
Saying shit like this is almost certainly why I'm on the list lol
And THIS is why I have found my place! Not much boot licking when it comes to the DNC here.

This gives a pretty good summary:
Everything just feels so bizarre to me. Internet communities and politics devolve into weird rabbit holes of strangeness and extremism which is totally foreign to me. I feel like some people just sit in their rooms posting pictures on their walls connecting it with red strings.
And here I am just to look at memes. Does that mean I'm too much of a "normie" or "boomer" for internet communities nowadays? I don't even know.
