Can I be in it too? π₯Ίππ
How do i find this knowledge! I need a list of people to follow lol
https://copyparty.adrian.place/u/?doc=policy.json
you can ctrl+f and type in your username to see if you qualify.
I've made less than 50 comments on Lemmy and none were very popular and yet I made the list? Maybe some kinda keyword thing. Strange.
Yay?

It was all your moth posts that got you on The List
They should have known it was a risk. The moth checks out.
Nooo i am not on there π
But at least i discovered that we axolotls have a queen

She doesn't even have any interaction on lemmy tho
What's even left on lemmy if you block everything left leaning? Might as well not come to this place
Also yuri.
They specifically blocked Wholsome Yuri.
And violet08.
Because I guess sexcapades are a bannable offense?
Yeah those are two oddballs that I've noticed so far.
lmao, they blocked violet ππ
Dbzero says My instance is full of fake leftists, but Tesseract says we're dangerous anarchists. I don't know who to believe anymore!
Out of the loop, what is Tesseract?
EDIT: Apparently its a UI for Lemmy that decided to start hiding leftist posts secretly because the dev is a lib
I honestly don't know how I made it on the list. I mostly just lurk and occasionally post memes about my cats. I'll take it though, it's a badge of honour.

I'm a queer leftist and I didn't make the list π’
I dont think i am on the block list... I am genuinely upset
I feel like Iβm missing a key piece of information here. Wtf is βtesseractβ in this context?
UPDATE: never mind. Other posts were more detailed. Apparently itβs a Lemmy instance/front end? And the owner(s) compiled a huge block list by usernames.
I still donβt know why it matters, whatβs so special about tesseract.
It matters because tesseract was/is used by some large instances, so the tesseract dev was secretly censoring content from thousands of users without their knowledge and even without the knowledge of the instance admins. It's a pretty big deal because this means that a lot of people on Lemmy have been getting a highly censored view of the community without realizing it. A lot of those people, probably even most of them, came to Lemmy specifically to get away from that kind of thing. So its really shady, a huge breach of trust, and this single dev has been covertly influencing thousands of people's political exposure.
A web frontend for lemmy that silently included a blacklist that blocked users for just about everything the dev didn't like.
