For some tasks (e.g. web browsing), you need a GUI. CLI browsers won't cut it.

The drive. Using Windows on a USB means constantly reading and writing to the USB, which wears it down.

That's true. On Windows, it idles at around 4gb, compared to 2gb on Linux. That's exactly what baffles my mind, as Windows still manages to have some leftover RAM even after all my apps.
Clippy being useless was okay because it was the 2000s. In this time and age though? Meh.
Also, people HATED Clippy. They always hated AI.
Because people actually have a life.
Linux phones exist, but they're:
- niche
- bad software ecosystem
- pretty expensive But, feel free to try them out. Pinephones are a thing.
Sounds good. Then, they'll finally move away from AI and we will all stop having AI being shoved down our throats. I'm sick and tired of all these AI chatbots in places where we don't even need them.
Always remember: Your OS should do nothing more than provide a GUI for you to access apps and run apps. Anything else is not necessary.
additionally, it would lower the lifespan of your usb. just get an external ssd.
