All the animals can be hand fed.
I hope you didn't feed your hand to the alligator.
An unofficial chapter of the popular Dull Men's Club.
1. Relevant commentary on your own dull life. Posts should be about your own dull, lived experience. This is our most important rule. Direct questions, random thoughts, comment baiting, advice seeking, many uses of "discuss" rarely comply with this rule.
2. Original, Fresh, Meaningful Content.
3. Avoid repetitive topics.
4. This is not a search engine
Use a search engine, a tradesperson, Reddit, friends, a specialist Facebook group, apps, Wikipedia, an AI chat, a reverse image search etc. to answer simple questions or identify objects. Also see rule 1, “comment baiting”.
There are a number of content specific communities with subject matter experts who can help you.
Some other communities to consider before posting:
5. Keep it dull. If it puts us to sleep, it’s on the right track. Examples of likely not dull: jokes, gross stuff (including toes), politics, religion, royalty, illness or injury, killing things for fun, or promotional content. Feel free to post these elsewhere.
6. No hate speech, sexism, or bullying No sexism, hate speech, degrading or excessively foul language, or other harmful language. No othering or dehumanizing of anyone or negativity towards any gender identity.
7. Proofread before posting. Use good grammar and punctuation. Avoid useless phrases. Some examples: - starting a post with "So" - starting a post with pointless phrases, like "I hope this is allowed" or “this is my first post” Only share good quality, cropped images. Do not share screenshots of images; share the original image.

I'm sorry, I have to downvote this for not being dull.
Yeah, I don’t come here to have my sense of childlike wonder replenished!
Sorry, gents. Tomorrow I have to replace my windshield wipers.
My God dude, leave some thrill for the rest of us. What are you, a 90s action hero?
Picture shows an astonishing lack of giraffe-appropriate sized trees
Aside from my personal views on zoos in general, I took the family and (and met our friends there) for a kids' day. There were no trees in the enclosure, but there was a giraffe-appropriate sized tether ball. 🤷♂️
The giraffea are fed carrots, green beans, and acacia leaves (at an eye-watering markup) 3 timers per day from the park guests. Judging by what I saw today that was about 100 people feeding 4 animals. I'm sure they are also receiving proper giraffe nutrition from the park caretakers. All the animals look healthy and are probably over-fed, to be honest. There are stations throughout the park to purchase food pellets that can be given to all the animals.
cope harder. you clearly know you're doing evil.
Yeah man you haven't lived til you've had an animals two-foot long purple tongue come reaching through some bars and grab you by the wrist! Aye-yai-yai!
You were being watched

Uh oh
What was it like?
It wasn't life-changing haha. They have short, coarse hair and if I didn't have a carrot stick to feed him he wasn't at all interested in the petting lol. They have a very long, purplish tongue that they curl around the food they eat to draw it into their mouths. And that tongue is wet and sticky. But hey, I got to pet one 😁
The Dull Men's club is getting less and less dull (^_^)
That's a great photo thanks for sharing
thats awesome; not dull; I am calling the mods and the dullness police
Not sure hand feeding an alligator is wise...
While they can't be domesticated, they can be tamed. Also it's stupid easy to hold their jaws shut. Like a 5 or 6 year old kid would have the strength to keep their jaws shut. I agree with you though. I wouldn't get near the tame ones when I went to a gator farm in Florida. I still maintain that place is a front for the mob.
And it's World Giraffe Day today! Just found out from doing the NYT crossword.
Stupid longhorses
Weren't you mildly infuriated by this very zoo?
not sure I want to hand feed an alligator.
We get it, you're not a vegan; why do you have to mention it so many times every single day?
