If you have to sit still yes, but a) lots of different twigs to fidget with and b) lots of different/moving things to focus on and let the brain wander on details and scenarios.

All it's missing is the fishing pole.
With the proper supplies, of course. A comfier chair, good smoke, at least cold water, perhaps a fishing rod and some lures, some tunes... All day in that chair, as is, probably wouldn't happen with most guys.
It looks like it's in the middle of a hiking path, so it would be very socially awkward to sit in other people's way all day long.

Why just men? Pretty much anyone seeking nature, the outdoors, and some quiet time would like this.
Until sunset, when the big skeeters roll in.
We have day mosquitoes now, even when it’s hot and dry. The brown striped bastards that fucking bite in a row if you don’t catch them.
They arrived 4-5 years ago and now we have to put on bug spray to do practically anything in our yard.

I worry that's why the chair is empty. Someone got carried off by one of the larger mosquitoes.
I defintely know more women that could just sit there and enjoy it than men. Now you add a fishing rod and some cold beers that would level if not completely flip the playing field.
If it's cool enough that the bugs aren't out, then yes definitely.
Yeah, bugs are the one thing that could ruin it.
Otherwise best day ever.
We got my wife's dad like a beekeeper hat for when he goes fishing. We'd like to get him back, you know.

Get a small fire going, or a thermacell
I've considered the thermacell before after reading about its supposed wizardry, but I dunno still seems like it can't be that healthy/environmentally friendly. What's your experience?
We have a portable leave-no-trace firepit that does the trick for the evening.
Tbh i've not used them. apparently they're the same thing as mosquito coils though just more... concentrated
As for healthiness. probs more healthy than malaria, or other mosquito born diseases.
As for environmentally friendly. i think the horse has bolted there tbh. have you seen how they're powering some of these data centres?

Absolutely. Not even a doubt. Bring my speaker for some music, a few preroll's, and a 6pk of beer and it would probably be a perfect day.

Put a hole in the lid and you don't have to get up for any reason.
